Welcome to the Christian Educator!

CLASS Families
When a family decides to enroll in CLASS, we are delighted to receive the enrollment application, assemble a suitable curriculum for each child, and provide administative services, but we believe there should be more to the relationship. That is why we publish the Christian Educator e-newsletter. At the broadest level, we want our families to be aware of issues facing homeschoolers across the nation. At the personal level, we want to share our customer service experience with you even before you make that first call. We include testimonials so that you can learn what others think of our homeschool program. It’s all about communication. We are pleased to respond to your inquiries as well, whether you are new to CLASS or have been around a while. Folks who contact us with a question or problem will often discover benefits or options in our program of which they were unaware. We want you to be fully informed about what CLASS has to offer.

Not enrolled in CLASS?
You don't have to be enrolled to receive the Christian Educator. Each issue contains helpful articles and tips for anyone who is home schooling or thinking about home schooling. Our goal is to provide help for the entire home schooling community, so sign up today.

Director's Cut - Land of the Free
An email has been circulating recently that purports to tell the story of an economics professor who stated that he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class. The email gives no specifics as to who and where, so the story probably does not describe actual events, but it easily could. See what you think.

Advantages of Home Schooling
At the start of yet another school term, it is profitable to consider anew some of the foundational reasons why the alternative of home education is worth the time and effort to pursue. Read on, and be encouraged that when you chose the option of home education, you did indeed make the right decision!

Teaching Tips - Teaching Leadership At Home
One of the key things that Christian home educators have in common is the desire to raise godly children who will be future leaders. In spite of this common goal, however, it is unlikely that most home school parents will invest much time trying to teach their children leadership principles. Teaching leadership principles from a biblical perspective is one of those activities that most parents think about from time-to-time (especially if they have sons) but seldom get around to doing in any deliberate manner.

The good news for any parent who is willing to make a more concerted effort to impart leadership principles to his children, is that a wealth of excellent study material is found in the Book of Nehemiah…

Prayer Room
James 5:16 says, “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” CLASS receives many prayer requests each month from families. We invite you to join our staff in praying for…

Testimonials

“CLASS works! I have received flyers and brochures in our mailbox from other curriculum during the six years I’ve been with you, but why fix something that’s not broken?”

“…I just want to thank you…for the marvelous education I have received through Christian Liberty Academy. The five years that I have studied through [CLASS] has resulted in not only my goal of a high school diploma but I have grown spiritually as well as [in maturity]. Our family has become closer as we sang together from the school’s gift of the Hymn book. May God continue to bless [CLASS].”

“We are so excited that the Lord has allowed my husband to provide this opportunity for our children to be home schooled through your wonderful, Christian curriculum, and all around well balanced home school program. I haven’t been able to let you know how much we are blessed to be a part of CLASS. I know without your program, I most likely would not be able to home school…”
