We have just completed a new section on our Web site called View Curriculum. You can see book covers, course descriptions, and other details about our standard courses—and our alternate courses! When viewing a particular grade level or subject, keep in mind that, depending on achievement test results and other information about the student, we may assign a course from a higher or lower grade level. Yes! Art, music and PE are no longer required for grades K-8. This does not mean that we want to discourage students from participating in these activities. Far from it! High school students are still required to submit R&I forms for music, art, and PE, and we will post scores on report cards for these courses. High school transcripts will continue to show these courses as well. |
