Description:
In this course, the student will study parts of speech, writing mechanics and style, sentence structure, and clause types. In addition, the student will begin to learn how to apply these elements by composing short stories and essays of various types. Description:
This course is designed as a review of the basic elements of effective writing and a reinforcement of the fundamentals of grammar. This course is essentially divided in two parts—composition and grammar. The first part emphasizes the thinking process and develops a sound writing strategy.
